There
is a man who lives day to day. He doesn't own a car,
or credit card, but an old piano and some guitars that
show their years. He puts his faith in Jesus and gets
a little help from his friends. His eyes are always looking
toward the Kingdom and that is why he smiles.
A man who has done everything you can do...just about
A to Z.
Though he has less than most, the wise would want what
he has. All of his life experiences, the triumphs and
the tragedies, reflect God's grace and mercy, making
Johnny who he is today.
These are his songs. There is a little bit of Johnny
in each one of us. Our songs are echoed in his. We have
traveled some of the same roads, tried to do it our
way, and at times cried out, "What about me?"
Like Johnny, we can hear the voice of the Lord deep down
inside, if we choose to listen. He warns us that the
devil doesn't sleep, reminds us to watch our back, and
encourages us all... to be a better me.
