So… so you think you can tell… I’m tempted to go on but I don’t think I have too… we all know the lyrics. If you found treasure would you not try and recover it? Can you tell the difference between a gem and a turd? …even a highly polished turd? How far would you go to recover the treasure? Would you take the time to bend down and pick it up? Would you spend your free time working toward getting it …or would you drop everything, sell what you own, and go after it?

wilderness has gone after it. Years ago wilderness heard the music and wilderness listened. wilderness came into being to accept and develop the music of Jesus Johnny. Dedicated to transforming the music into a form that could be received and distributed to all those with an open mind, wilderness has expanded and incorporated into a legitimate business entity. We work at independent music production and are driven to realize the potential of Jesus Johnny’s artistic expression and real life relevance.

Look how far we’ve come…wilderness produces Jesus Johnny’s demo “The Hurt and Healing”, a five song EP with a run of 1000 units. Next wilderness manages Jesus Johnny’s debut release… “Leaning on Love” …a full length twelve song production, that explores various musical genres, and makes a strong argument for further development. 5000 units produced. With “a better me”, the sophomore release, wilderness pushes the limits of its production abilities …a wide range of instrumentation including horns, pianos, timpani, and banjo are employed. 10,000 units produced.

Today, wilderness is reflecting on the accomplishment of Jesus Johnny’s Magnum Opus, “Redemption Road”. A double CD that goes beyond wilderness’ limitations and enlists the help of outside producers to expand the material further than was previously thought possible. On par with unlimited budget recordings, Redemption Road was realized on the very best analog gear. Helios. Pultec. Neve. Mixed in kind on digital Tools ...and Mastered by the best…check out the liner notes. 5000 double CDs pressed.
